WE TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO ENGAGE CONSTRUCTIVELY ABOUT CONTENTIOUS ISSUES.

MEET THE GROWING MORAL COURAGE COMMUNITY.
Irshad is the founder of the Moral Courage Network. A prize-winning leadership professor at New York University for many years, she now teaches with the Oxford Initiative for Global Ethics and Human Rights.
The recipient of Oprah's "Chutzpah Award" for boldness, Irshad is also a New York Times bestselling author. Her latest book is Don't Label Me: How to Do Diversity Without Inflaming the Culture Wars. (Fun fact: Chris Rock calls the book "genius." Another fun fact: Not everybody agrees with Chris Rock.)
Irshad lives in New York City.
IRSHAD MANJI
FOUNDER
Hasan is Irshad Manji's executive assistant. Born and raised in the UK, he met Irshad while studying religion and neuroscience at Cambridge University. The two have since been inseparable—except for the fact that Hasan lives in Egypt and is typically ahead of Irshad in both time zone and pop culture awareness.
Allison serves as the Moral Courage team's Director of Education and Training. If you take the Mentor certification program, you'll spend a lot of time with her. We should all be so lucky!
Allison did her post-graduate studies in the behavioral sciences. She loves to cultivate caring and inclusive environments, which helps explain how she survived raising three kids. She and her family live in Utah.
As the Director of Ops -- Operations and Opportunities -- Jen makes everything go smoothly. That includes programming and events, online and off. She's constantly searching for new ways to serve our community.
Jen speaks and writes Mandarin. Can you tell? She lives with her family in Texas. Can you tell that, too? Both are trick questions.
