Higher ed leaders: uniformity is not unity.
Want to expand trust and belonging? Then reimagine the diversity paradigm.

Using the Moral Courage skill set on campus advances unity without uniformity.
OUR PEDAGOGY:
Eases participants out of polarity and into pluralism. We chip away at crude binaries through the recognition that all of us are internally "plural" - multifaceted and more than meets the eye.
Reframes "belonging" to honor different viewpoints. Divergent opinions and ideas exist within groups, not merely between groups. Individuality expands community.
Fosters trust in order to establish truth, not the other way around. It's often said that facts don't care about feelings. But the reverse is equally the case: feelings don't care about facts. If I shame you, why would you trust my "facts"? Mutual trust encourages the mutual pursuit of truth.

Irshad Manji, our founder, engaged with student activists at The King Center's Beloved Community Global Summit.
In these 3 video clips, Prof. Manji explains how young activists can stand their ground and create common ground — at the same time.
