The Moral Courage community is bigger than the team you’ve just met.Below are some of the innovative and inspiring people on the path to becoming certified Moral Courage Mentors. Join us.

Irshad is founder of the Moral Courage family of programs. A prize-winning leadership professor at New York University for many years, she now teaches with Oxford University's Initiative for Global Ethics and Human Rights.

The recipient of Oprah's "Chutzpah Award" for boldness, Irshad is also a New York Times bestselling author. Her latest book is Don't Label Me: How to Do Diversity Without Inflaming the Culture Wars. (Fun fact: Chris Rock calls the book "genius." Another fun fact: Not everybody agrees with Chris Rock.)

Irshad lives globally and gets her snail mail in New York City.

Hasan is Irshad Manji's executive assistant. Born and raised in the UK, he met Irshad while studying religion and neuroscience at Cambridge University. The two have since been inseparable—except for the fact that Hasan lives in Egypt and is typically ahead of Irshad in both time zone and pop culture awareness.

Allison serves as the Moral Courage team's Director of Education and Training. If you take the Mentor certification program, you'll spend a lot of time with her. We should all be so lucky!

Allison did her post-graduate studies in the behavioral sciences. She loves to cultivate caring and inclusive environments, which helps explain how she survived raising three kids. She and her family live in Utah.

Jennifer is the Moral Courage team's Coordinator of Community. She convenes our Mentors, whether they're certified or aspire to be, for mutual learning and laughter. With her, there's always plenty of each.

Jen speaks and writes Mandarin. Can you tell? She lives with her family in Texas. Can you tell that, too? Both are trick questions.
